Antalis UK is to present a series of workshops aimed at printers looking to expand their knowledge of new applications and explore opportunities to enable them to extend their services and increase revenue streams.

The workshops, part of an on-going series being launched by Antalis, will commence in September and take place at the company’s Digital Academy, based at its headquarters in Coalville, Leicestershire.

The first in the series, which will be held on 11 September, will focus on signmaking, making it an ideal learning environment for experienced printers looking into the sign and display market for the first time, as well as for new employees.

Colour management will be theme of the second workshop which will take place on 24 September. This has been developed for companies looking to achieve consistently high quality output and repeatable colour across a range of different digital devices.

The final workshop in the month will take place on September 30 and focus on printers looking to explore business opportunities within the fine art market.

Giles Bristow, Antalis digital support manager, said: ‘With the help of experienced professionals our educational workshops are designed to give delegates real hands-on experience, take away examples and a thorough understanding of each area to equip them to expand their service offerings. They provide an ideal learning environment for printers looking to dip their toes into new markets or for new employees joining experienced companies.’

Places on the workshops are extremely limited and will cost £50, to include materials and lunch. For more information or to book your place, go to www.digital2business.co.uk/digital-academy/ or e-mail digital.academy@antalis.co.uk.
