New milestone in UV technology: 250,000th UV lamp manufactured

On the occasion of the 250,000th UV lamp manufactured by IST Metz, the company presented worldwide operating packaging manufacturer A&R Carton with an award.

UV lamps are a key component of the UV systems manufactured by IST Metz for the curing of inks, varnishes, silicones and adhesives by means of UV light. They have been produced by subsidiary eta plus electronic GmbH since 1989 to guarantee high quality and reliability of supply of the UV units. Besides their use in UV systems, they are also used in other systems such as water treatment.

Some 25 years after the first UV lamp was produced, the 250,000th was symbolically handed over to A&R Carton GmbH.
