And, we aren’t talking turkey!
CAU in Tunbridge Wells will be encouraging customers to quit ‘talking turkey’ this festive season and instead inject some South American flair into the traditional Christmas celebrations, either with family, friends or at the staff Christmas party.

The seasonal menu features CAU classics, including Yerba smoked beef, roasted pumpkin risotto and of course Argentinian beef with three cuts on the menu including our ever popular sirloin, rib eye and Tapa de Cuadril (we promise it is scrumptious!).
Tradition hasn’t been completely forgotten though, for dessert the Christmas pudding sundae is a nod at the festive favourite.
This year, lunch or dinner can be accompanied by the restaurant’s own brand label wines which have been blended and commissioned by CAU and Gaucho’s director of Wines, Phil Crozier (CAU is a sister restaurant to Gaucho – and let’s please have one of those in Tunbridge Wells). The range currently includes three Malbec’s (one French and two Argentine) and a Marsanne Riesling all four are available by the glass, carafe and bottle at all of CAU’s restaurants.
The Christmas menu is available from November 24 and is priced at £23 for two courses or £29 for three courses.
For groups of ten or more CAU will be gifting the organiser a £40 CAU voucher.
This year’s seasonal menu is just part of an accessible all day menu that includes breakfast with an Argentinian twist (Latin eggs – grilled avocado, poached eggs on a muffin with a drizzle of chimichurri or pancakes with dulce de leche) and a knock out Sunday Roast. Grass fed Argentinean beef is prominent on the menu, with a range of cuts available. Other key dishes include twice cooked pork belly and pepper crusted seared tuna steak amongst all influenced by the melting pot that is Buenos Aires.
