Gingerbread at Groombridge Place

A fairyland of gingerbread

Between 17 and 24 December Groombridge will be building a Christmas Gingerbread Village.

In the beautifully decorated area, you can make Christmas cards and decorations and help build the Gingerbread Christmas Village.

You will be given a template and instructions, icing, sweets and handmade decorations, which can be used to complete your gingerbread house. Once complete each house can be added to the ‘Gingerbread Christmas Village’. Parents can ask to receive a photo of their child with their gingerbread house by e-mail.

Workshops run all day from 10 am until 4 pm and are free with admission. A member of staff will be on hand to help if required.

The festively decorated café will be open throughout December and will offer a seasonal menu including mulled wine, mince pies, homemade soup, freshly prepared baguettes and delicious homemade cakes, yum!

Hand crafted Christmas cards and gifts will also be available in the gift shop.
