...and Daffodil Spectacular
Visitors to Chiddingstone Castle this spring can enjoy the amazing daffodil spectacular and also take part in the Easter Chick Hunt which takes place from Good
Friday 3 April until Sunday 19 April.

Children and families are invited to search for Easter chicks hiding amongst the museum’s exhibitions before asking for these to be exchanged for yummy chocolate treats! The event is free with castle admission.
Chiddingstone Castle is famous for its amazing artefacts, which were collected by the gifted antiquarian Denys Eyre Bower, who left his collections for the nation to enjoy after his death in 1977.
Inside the Castle, visitors can see an incredible collection of Japanese Samurai swords, armour and lacquer ware, together with fascinating antiquities from Ancient Egypt. There are also paintings of the Stuart monarchs, Jacobite manuscripts and treasures and a unique Buddhist collection to explore.
A number of themed rooms are open for visitors to walk around, including Denys’ study, complete with personal letters detailing his fascinating private life which featured a notorious scandal and imprisonment.
