Collect a jar and net and join in the bug hunt at Bewl Water Country Park before learning all about the different bugs.
Bewl Water Country Park is open from 10 am and children’s entertainment from 11 am.
Additional entertainment will include free puppet show, children’s fishing, make and take and colouring.
Children can also explore the adventure playground including a fort, giant slide, rope bridges and swings.
The ‘Swallow’ operates a regular passenger boat service across and around the lake. The 40 minute cruise takes in spectacular scenery and the fully licensed bar offers light snacks and refreshments during the cruise.
A pick up or drop off at Ferry Point is available approximately half way around the ‘Round Bewl Water’ route for those who don’t wish to tackle the 13 mile walk!
Entry into the Country Park is now only £8 per car and a new annual family season ticket has been introduced at £50.
From April until November horse riders and cyclists can also enjoy the reservoir. Cycling is a great way to see the beauty of Bewl Water Country Park. Bring your own bikes or hire one on the day.
