23 May to 31 May 2015

Visitors to Groombridge Place during May half term can enjoy a magical event with Peter Pan, the mischievous boy who can fly and never grows up.

Peter Pan, the character created by Scottish novelist and playwright J. M. Barrie will be at Groombridge Place with the other characters from Neverland including Hook, Smee, Tinkerbell, Tiger Lily, Indian Chief, Wendy, Michael, John, Pirates, the Lost Boys and the Crocodile and Pan’s Shadow every day between 23 May and 31 May 2015 from 10 am to 5.30 pm.

There will be three plays performed each day:

Wendy and her brothers at the Nursery on the lawn.

Peter Pan, Hook and Smee at Crusoe’s World.

Sit with The Lost Boys in the Enchanted Forest for songs and campfire stories.

Discover the tepees in the Enchanted Forest where children can make Indian head bands with Tiger Lily and the Indian Chief. Learn to fly like Peter Pan on the bungee trampolines and learn to be a fairy with Tinkerbell. The Magician will be performing magic throughout the day with characters from Neverland. Watch the exciting sword fights when the Lost Boys battle with the Pirates!

The birds of prey flying displays will also take place twice a day and the canal boat will run between the gardens and Crusoe’s World in the Enchanted Forest.

‘Have a go Archery’ will take place every day (subject to weather) in collaboration with Arcus Archery. Children over six and adults can take part in an archery session with an expert instructor. The cost will be £5 for 10 arrows or £10 for an hour long instructor led session, which can be booked on arrival.
