Avenue Q at Assembly Hall Theatre - Review

Hot off the West End!
Avenue Q may look like something out of Sesame Street, but believe you me, it is not one for the kids. It is however, for those looking for a good time, impeccable singing and acting laced with controversial songs and themes. Not only is it a joy to listen to, as some real tuneful musicals get belted out, but for such a small stage the set is impressive and used incredibly well. Assembly Hall Theatre has always been, and still is, one of my favourite theatres outside of London, with its comfy seats, friendly staff, and professional staging, what is not to love? Make sure you take advantage of this truly impressive entertainment giving building!
So, if you are looking for something a little more adult, but with puppets and some rather pushing the boundaries subjects set around ear wormingly good music, then Avenue Q, could be right up your, well, avenue!
