with free fun for all the family
Tunbridge Wells Sports Centre, operated by leisure charity, Fusion Lifestyle, is opening the doors to its new facilities over the weekend of 28 and 29 May, to celebrate the official opening and give the local community the chance to try everything it has to offer. Following a £1.7 million investment, Fusion and Tunbridge Wells Borough Council are excited to share the results.
The official opening kicks off with a visit from the Mayor on Friday 27 May, before a fun packed weekend begins. Families can check out the new 70 plus station gym, work up a sweat in the dedicated virtual indoor cycle studio, try out the basketball courts, practice their serves on the indoor tennis courts, take a dip in one of the three refurbished pools or let off some steam in the new health suite.

For younger family members there will be plenty of time to burn off energy, in the new soft play area while mum and dad grab a coffee in the new café, which will provide refreshments throughout the weekend.
Jason Preston-Reeves, divisional business manager at Fusion Lifestyle, commented: ‘Tunbridge Wells Sports Centre is at the heart of the community and we are delighted to have completed this refurbishment, giving local residents even better facilities. Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and Fusion Lifestyle are committed to providing top quality services to the public and hope they agree that the improved centre offers something for everyone.’
The centre will be open from 7 am to 5.30 pm on Saturday 28 May and 8 am to 9.30 pm on Sunday 29 May.
