Denmaur Independent Papers, the privately owned and independently financed UK paper merchant, established by brothers Mike and Nick Gee in 1983, has announced further business developments for the New Year.

On top of positive performances last year, the company is experiencing near double digit growth in the tonnes of paper sold to a growing customer base of publishers, end users, printers and design agencies.

Along with the benefits of a continuing strong presence in the publishing and end user sector, printer and design generated business is also growing significantly through the efforts of the management, staff and specifically with the addition of new stocked products including coated papers UPM Finesse, Figaro and the Fabriano range of speciality papers.

Managing director Mike Gee has now announced that along with a plan to increase internal investment in IT systems and a strengthening transport and distribution structure, the company is taking on additional high calibre sales representatives to continue the strategy of growing Denmaur Independent’s business.

Former Paperlinx managing director, Andy Buxton, who arrived at the company in August, becomes sales manager to printers in the Midlands and South West and is joined by new business manager Duane Percival. Both are based in the Bardon sales office in Leicestershire.
