First Scodix foil system installed in Europe

Scodix has announced the installation of the first Scodix Foil system in Europe. The new in line module for the Ultra Pro is going to OFT GmbH in Germany.

Earlier this year, OFT installed its first Ultra Pro digital enhancement press, and with the addition of the option of Scodix Foil, becomes the first company worldwide to offer professional foiling for run lengths of any count.

‘Scodix enables us to offer a whole new set of services, that in turn grant us access to additional brands and brand managers,’ noted OFT founder Thomas Glasder. ‘By offering them creative and professional differentiation options, we also introduce them to our vast array of capabilities. Scodix Foil makes short to medium size foil production runs a feasible and profitable reality.’

Scodix has also announced that it will hold an open house at OFT on November 10 (in Neuss – located just over 10 kilometres from Düsseldorf). The purpose of the open house is to introduce the new capabilities of the Scodix Ultra Pro including the Scodix Foil Station.
