The successful workshops that Antalis UK has been running for printers looking to expand their knowledge of new applications and opportunities have been developed to now include small format digital technology aimed at printers looking to expand their knowledge of new applications and explore opportunities to enable them to extend their services and increase revenue streams.

The successful workshops, which have been running since September 2014, will take place at the company’s Digital Academy, based at its headquarters in Coalville, Leicestershire.

The print, foil, cut and crease your own packaging mock ups workshop on 1 December is aimed anyone interested in bringing packaging mock ups in-house and/or wishing to learn all about the all new OKI white and clear toner technology. Topics and demonstrations will include creating professional folded boxes, cards and stickers in an office environment, exploring the effects of white and clear toner on specialist papers and boards and cutting and creasing prints to create short run production and mock ups. There will be an opportunity for attendees to bring their own designs to trial on the day.

Alongside this workshop, Antalis has been working in conjunction with RIP software manufacturer Cadlink to develop workshops for users of the Signlab RIP software. The intermediate workshop on the 10 November is designed for users who want to fast track their knowledge by exploring the many features in this market leading sign making software. The advanced workshop on the 9 December is designed for advanced users who wish to become experts in using Signlab. The Signlab Workshops will be presented by Bernhard Nische, who is well known in the sign industry for his wealth of knowledge and unbounded enthusiasm.

Commenting on the continuation of the workshops, Giles Bristow, Antalis digital support manager, said: ‘The workshops have been a runaway success and following customer research we have decided to enhance our programme to include these new workshops, ideal for customers looking to enhance their knowledge.’

Places on the workshops are extremely limited. For more information or to book your place on one of the seminars, go to www.digital2business.co.uk/digital-academy/ or e-mail digital.academy@antalis.co.uk
