B2 start up White Star Printing is the latest printer to transform its waste into cash after it signed up to SO Recycle printer’s waste paper, card and film collection service.

Established earlier this summer with a four colour Komori S29 H-UV and two Konica Minolta digital presses, the Chandlers Ford operation has formed an alliance with Snows Business Forms to handle litho work.
Production operations manager Steve Laight said, ‘When we established White Star Printing we were initially transferring the waste to Snows Business Forms but that was not a long term solution.
We had talked to a number of neighbours who were using SO Recycle and their feedback was very good. They were impressed with the level of service, its reliability and the good quality of the bins.’
He continued, ‘Health and safety is very important to us and SO Recycle service helps us meet our requirements. Cleanliness is also key and one of the major things I was looking for – SO Recycle keeps the place clean with plenty of collections.
‘The money is an advantage but it was service and reliability that really stood out for us.’
