The Danwood Group has announced the appointment of Charlie McIntosh to managing director Scotland and Ireland. Charlie, who was the group’s service and operations director for Scotland and Ireland since 2013, is now tasked with overseeing the entire business in these key regions, with a focus on building customer loyalty and increasing sales.

Charlie has worked in the print industry for more than 30 years and brings a wealth of sales and operational experience to Danwood. He set up and ran his own successful business in Scotland in 1992, Paragon Systems, which he subsequently sold to Danwood in 2005, when it became Danwood Scotland.

James Dalziel, group chief sales officer, commented: ‘With well established connections across the industry, Danwood and within the group’s operations teams, Charlie is excellently qualified to lead our Scotland and Ireland business. It is critical that we confirm a strong local presence and brand, and demonstrate our commitment to these regions so we can continue to exceed our growth.’
