On Tuesday 23 of February 2016 from 8 am to 4 pm Roland DG will be holding a New Product Creative Centre Open Day – an event held at its headquarters in Clevedon where, for the first time, you will be able to see the newly launched VersaUV LEF-300, Soljet EJ-640 and Texart RT-640 and learn about the innovative products including new accompanying RIP software and see profit-driving demonstrations.

Within the new product line up on display there will be something to capture the imagination of anyone in the business of print.

The LEF-300 desktop UV flatbed printer is the latest, largest and fastest printer from the VersaUV LEF desktop series. The LEF-300 benefits from a host of new features that make customisation on an industrial level easier and more profitable than ever. A large 770 x 330 mm vacuum flatbed table for speedy object positioning and dual LED lamps for super fast printing, the LEF-300 can be used to personalise virtually any item or substrate.

Roland DG's latest addition to the Texart range of sublimation technology is the XT-640. With a print speed of up to 63 m2 per hour and a wide colour gamut including orange and violet Texart inks; the XT-640 delivers outstanding productivity, exceptional print quality and renowned reliability.

The latest Soljet printer, the EJ-640 uses new EJ Ink supplied in 1 litre ink cartridges developed specifically for use with the EJ-640 to deliver economical running costs below £1 per square metre. Available in either dual CMYK or CMYKLcLmLk configurations, the EJ-640 is a true high production printer able to produce stunning quality graphics as stunning speeds.

Finally, print product manager Mark Elvidge will be on hand to demonstrate the workflow advantages of the powerful new VersaWorks Dual RIP software which features both postscript and PDF RIP engines for superior file rendering and spot colour generation tools for quick and easy printing of white and gloss files. For Mac OSX users, Mark will also be demonstrating Rolandprintstudio, an exciting RIP and print management software for Roland DG machines.
