Signalling Jiffy Packaging’s intention to drive growth in the year ahead, the company’s sales and marketing director Fiona MacDougall has put the finishing touches to a new look sales team.

Joining Steve Moore, sales manager for technical foams, who has been with Jiffy for approaching 30 years and national account manager, Colin Parker, appointed in July last year are new account executive Holly Jackson and Richard Beesley, national account manager.

The appointments come following multi-million pound investment during 2015 in extrusion technology which is allowing Jiffy to create mass market penetration. This is on top of an already broad range of mailers including the iconic Jiffy Padded Bag and Jiffy Bubble film.

Speaking about the new sales team, Fiona said, ‘We have an ambitious sales target to meet in the year ahead and lots to talk about so I’m delighted to have the new team in place.

‘Following the commissioning of the new foam extruder in Q3 2015, which allows us to manufacture polyethylene foam in a variety of thicknesses at up to 2.5 metres wide, we are targeting new markets as well as extending our offering to existing customers.

‘More investment is expected later this year and this will see us expanding our product offering even further.’
