Romax has invested in Xerox’s integrated print and e-publishing solution, FreeFlow Digital Publisher, to broaden its multi-channel services.
The company handles every aspect of the direct marketing process from data and design through to print and delivery. Clients include the BBC, Plusnet, the NHS, City & Guilds and the Southbank Centre.

Offering a wide array of commercial litho and digital printing, Romax was looking to develop its multi-channel services to align with growing customer demand to extend print content online. With the Xerox FreeFlow Digital Publisher, it is now equipped to provide customers with a range of e-publishing services – which includes generating mobile editions of digital publications and improved form management – that complement its existing print offerings.
‘Everywhere you go, everywhere you look, you see people using their smartphones and tablets. We believe publishers and marketeers must make their mobile content ‘browsable’ and ‘snackable’. A miniaturised version of a website will not cut it on a five inch screen. Customers need optimised smartphone apps and web editions that deliver the good stuff simply, alongside built-in multi-media such as video,’ said Wesley Dowding, operations and technology director. ‘FreeFlow Digital Publisher, with integrated GTxcel technology, forms the backbone of our new digital publishing platform, publicus, which will help us to lead the way in the growing e-publishing market.’
