Venetian Floors is a new project from Pixartprinting, which aims to make high quality, exclusive cultural content linked to pieces of art and graphic design. The first stop is Venice, but seen from an unusual viewpoint: with eyes facing firmly downwards. The stars of the project are the city's lavish floors, with the shots taken by photographer Sebastian Erras immortalising a collection of techniques and colours, in materials including stone, marble, mosaic and glass.

‘We want to promote an innovative approach not only in our business, but also in the way we produce and distribute content. This project allows us to provide people with an incredible photo gallery from which to draw inspiration, proof of the artistic wealth of our country, and a contemporary vision of the art of photography,’ said Davide Turatti, digital marketing manager at Pixartprinting. ‘Indeed, the photos of the floors are taken in a 'selfeet' style, looking downwards, with the photographer's feet visible in the image, a technique that is going viral.’

By visiting the dedicated page adorned with Pixartprinting's usual captivating graphics, you can admire Venice in a new light through quotations, encounters, stories, interesting facts and, naturally, photographs. And by downloading the interactive map of the route, you can even relive and, if you so wish, replicate the stroll through the city's palaces, museums, schools, shops, theatres, lanes and other places in search of the enchanting floors.

This project is starting out in Venice, Pixartprinting's home city, but it will develop internationally, stopping off in the countries where the company has been operating for some time. The next stop will be Barcelona.
