‘Textures by Domino’

Domino Digital Printing Solutions is presenting its ‘Textures by Domino at Label & Print 2016 (Stand J21, NEC Birmingham, 24 to 25 February).

‘Textures by Domino’ is a new inkjet capability that allows label printers to produce an endless scope of digitally textured labels just by using the high opacity white ink on the N610i digital colour label press, without the need to invest in expensive textured substrates. This technique enables printers to create visually striking, tactile labels that not only give products strong shelf presence but also help to increase customer engagement across a wide variety of sectors, such as wine, beer, cosmetics and beauty.

Jon Pritchard, product manager at Domino Printing Sciences, said: ‘Due to the initial positive feedback that we received at Labelexpo, we are now delighted to launch ‘Textures by Domino’, showcasing a whole new set of designs, colours and textured label samples that illustrate to our customers the range of effects can be created with ink jet, with lower costs than by using textured papers.’
