Apex Digital Graphics has announced an additional digital machine to run alongside the Konica Minolta C1060 production press at the forthcoming Real Print And Finish Open House, to be held at its Hemel premises on March 15, 16 and 17. The C71hc bizhub is a ‘High Chroma’ wide colour gamut machine which offers high colour saturation and sharp colour reproduction without the need for extra toners. The Colour gamut is closer to sRGB than ordinary process CMYK, enabling vivid pinks and bright greens, with superior spot colour matching.

Apex managing director Bob Usher said, ‘We are delighted to be expanding our digital offering for this event, which focuses on real solutions. The C71hc press is a great machine which offers a vivid colour option to those running an RGB workflow, and is also compatible with conventional CMYK.’
As well as digital, Apex will once again showcase the latest in litho technology with live demonstrations of LED-UV printing. For the first time the company will show a Ryobi 750G five colour B3 format LED-UV machine printing on plastic substrates. The March event also has a huge range of finishing equipment from IFS and Renz. In partnership with new event partner Graphic Arts Supplies, foiled products will be produced in live demonstrations, including bespoke business cards for visitors. Other attractions include MIS solutions from Imprint, web to print from Vpress and free consultations from IPIA business and industry experts.
