The photobook market continues to grow and is proving profitable for many printers with digital technology. To capitalise on this and support those businesses either looking to enter or develop existing skills in this market, Antalis has launched two new workshops as part of its highly successful range of Digital Academy workshops.

The Introduction to Digital Photobook and Personalised Printing and Finishing Workshop, which takes place on 14 April, will give attendees an overview of Transeo Media Software as well as practical sessions of both hardback and softback photobook production.

The Advanced Digital Photobook and Personalised Printing and Finishing Workshop which takes place on 26 April will encompass practical sessions on producing case bound books, BooXter staple bound books, lay flat books, ring binders and duplexing.

Giles Bristow, digital support manager, said: ‘Demand for digitally printed personalised products continues to grow rapidly and this presents a huge opportunity for many businesses. These workshops are a great way for our customers to gain hands on experience and knowledge from industry experts in this field as well as see first hand the suitability of such grades of paper such as Mohawk Superfine for these applications.’

Places on the workshops are extremely limited. For more information or to book your place on one of the seminars, go to www.digital2business.co.uk/digital-academy/ or e-mail digital.academy@antalis.co.uk.
