Palm Print is celebrating its 25th anniversary with the arrival of its latest digital press, the Linoprint CV 80, which is being installed by Heidelberg.

The CV 80 will sit alongside a Konica C8000, Ricoh C901 and Roland XC540 wide format press and will provide Palm Print with the ability to print in-house six page A4 and four page A4 landscape formats which it has previously had to outsource.

The Linoprint CV 80 provides Palm with the ability to print on various textured papers and films plus produce cutting edge print effects including printing with white or a clear spot varnish.

‘This press takes digital printing to an entirely different level,’ said David Melbourne, operations director of the Bournemouth based company. ‘The opportunities it opens for creative designers are unbelievable and we will be demonstrating its capabilities to existing and potential customers with a series of open houses over the coming weeks. Creativity should not be constrained by the limitations of what has now become dated technology.’

He continued, ‘We invested an enormous amount of time researching the various presses on the market and were very impressed not only with this machine's capabilities but also the advice and support we have received from Heidelberg.’
