Vision Paper and Board has announced an extension to the Celebr8 Occasions range of coated boards.

Available exclusively from Vision Paper and Board, Celebr8 Occasions has a double blade coating on the top side and a light matt coating on the reverse, which not only gives excellent stability to the sheet during printing and finishing, but also provides a fully guaranteed print surface.

Since its introduction, Celeb8 Occasions has gone from strength to strength, and has proved a useful and versatile product for the graphical board market. The range has now been enhanced with the introduction of a new 280 g/m2, 440 micron product, specifically designed to meet the demanding requirements of the greetings card market.

‘The UK greetings card market is the largest in Europe and we send more cards per head of population than any other country in the world, and our cards are undisputedly the most sophisticated and diverse of any other country. With cards being produced typically in either 260 g/m2 or 280 g/m2, the new addition to the Celebr8 Occasions range makes it ideally suited to this market,’ said Dan Brown, group board manager at Vision Paper and Board. ‘Add to this the ability to print multi-colour images on the inside of the card gives us a competitive edge and a market leading product range.’

Produced in Canada from FSC certified pulps, with a range from 175 to 280 g/m2, Celebr8 Occasions is suitable for a wide range of applications from book jackets to postcards and greetings cards. Now FDA compliant throughout the range, it is also more suited than ever for high quality packaging as well.
