When Cornish clothing, accessories, footwear and homeware company Seasalt Cornwall decided to open a new store in Canterbury, Kent, the company called upon Wallace Print to assist with a temporary printed graphic prior to the shop’s launch in January 2016.
Seasalt wanted a full colour printed window wrap to obscure the building’s internal renovation work whilst it was taking place. The graphic needed to be quick and easy to apply, yet be removable by Seasalt’s staff prior to the grand opening without leaving any adhesive residue.
Rochester based Wallace Print was able to recommend Drytac’s SpotOn film for the project.

Chris Payne, sales manager at Wallace Print, explained: ‘Seasalt searched online for a local company that was able to turn around this particular type of project quickly and effectively and got in contact with us. We suggested the use of Drytac SpotOn vinyl as it seemed the perfect fit for this type of project with its straightforward and easy to apply/easy to remove air release technology.’
Suitable for short term indoor graphics applications, SpotOn is a high quality, ink receptive printable vinyl, developed specifically for the creation of short term vibrant graphics requiring quick and easy application and removal.
Available in clear matte frosted, clear gloss, white matte and white gloss versions, Drytac SpotOn is printable by solvent, eco solvent, HP Latex and UV inkjet techniques. Key to the simplicity of application is a ‘dot pattern’ printed pressure sensitive adhesive which allows the printable film to be easily applied – bubble free – on a wide variety of smooth interior surfaces including walls, windows, glass and more.
Chris continued, ‘Within 48 hours of the order coming in, the graphic was printed on our large format digital flatbed – a Fujifilm HS with white ink technology – using the in-line digital white ink to back up the print.
‘Our in-house team was able to quickly install the printed window graphic. It was very simple – and that is the beauty of Drytac’s SpotOn vinyl.’
