Following investment in a Kolbus DA260 Casemaker at drupa, Gomer Press has also invested in a Meccanotecnica Aster Pro sewer, also from Kolbus UK.

Jonathan Lewis, Gomer Press managing director, said: ‘We have had Aster sewers before and always found them to be fantastic machines both for reliability and output so we had no hesitation in upgrading to this new Aster Pro.’

The Aster Pro is Meccanotecnica’s flagship unit operating at up to 200 cycles per minute. By increasing capacity at Gomer Press it will satisfy the upsurge in demand that they have for sewn products.
