The swissQprint robot solution for unattended printing had his world premiere at drupa. This compact robot augments any of the company’s flatbed printers and loads it with media.

Working in concert with the printer, the robot handles extra shifts without supervision and takes over repetitive work. The user gains time for other tasks and has fewer hours to work, allowing greater utilisation of the printer and optimised delivery times.

The device is ready to go within ten minutes. The user docks him to the swissQprint flatbed printer, whereupon he undergoes auto-initialisation and connects with the output software. And after the work is done, it can be stored away in a small corner.

The robot is capable of handling many different kinds of material.

Safety is also paramount as sensors monitor the robot’s operating radius. It slows down should somebody or something enter the sensor field. And in case of contact, it freezes on the spot.

The robot is fully integrated and compatible with all swissQprint models. Existing customers can also automate their printer later on.
