Sawgrass launches new inks

Colour matching has never been easier than with Sawgrass’ new SubliJet-HD Expanded Gamut (XG) inks for the Virtuoso 25" (630 mm) product decorating system featuring the VJ 628 printer.

This latest eight colour ink set offers C,M,Y,KXF,Lc,Lm, orange and blue ink cartridges, which deliver a significantly wider gamut of colours than is attainable with a traditional, four colour CMYK configuration.

‘This ink set was designed for product decorators who have colour critical applications, such as sports and corporate logos, school colours, flags and banners,’ said Patrick McGinnis, Sawgrass director of product marketing. ‘Adding orange and blue to the C,M,Y,K,Lc,Lm configuration greatly expands the gamut range of traditional CMYK. Now, decorators can more easily attain hard to match colours like reds, blues, purples and Pantone colours.’

The ink set comes with a preconfigured XG colour palette of popular spot colours that can be loaded directly into Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or CorelDraw graphics software for easy use. New colours can also be created, applied and saved to the palette for quick spot colour matching and frequently printed jobs.

And now product decorators can also add exciting fluorescent colours to graphics with Sawgrass' new SubliJet-HD Fluorescent (FL) inks – with the addition of fluorescent yellow and pink cartridges.

SubliJet-HD FL provides a preconfigured colour palette of 16 fluorescent colours.
