Antalis to create Onyx RIP software training

Antalis UK is to add three training sessions on Onyx RIP software to its existing roster of workshops, which include topics such as practical applications, finishing and technology in the digital print market. The new series of Onyx workshops will provide a practical insight into streamlining production workflows by automating routine tasks that reduce operator error and create greater overall efficiency.

As the market leader in RIP software, Onyx products are an industry standard, allowing Antalis to strengthen its position as a leading education provider enabling software users to improve their skills and capabilities with RIP products.

The first workshop, taking place on 18 July, is designed for intermediate users who are familiar with the basic operation of the software and are keen to expand their knowledge further to take advantage of the many extra features that Onyx provides.

The second course on 24 August will be for advanced users who would like to reach a high level of expertise. Antalis will also offer Onyx certified training (date tbc), which will cover all aspects of the software and allow attendees to become an Onyx Certified Operator. All workshops will take place at the Antalis Digital Academy in Coalville, Leicestershire.

Tutoring these workshops will be Andrew Edwards, who has been working with wide format inkjet and Onyx RIP software since the early 1990s. Andrew is currently a senior manager at Art Systems, responsible for sales and support of Onyx, HP Latex/UV and Summa products in the UK and is the UK’s only Onyx Certified Trainer.
