Following the highly successful All Party Parliamentary Print Group reception, the BPIF team attended the Trade Association Forum Best Practice Awards, where it was awarded Event of the Year for the British Book Design and Production Awards.

The awards recognise, reward and promote best practice amongst trade associations in the UK and are a chance for TAF members to showcase their hard work and achievements during the last twelve to eighteen months.

Presented to the BPIF marketing team by award sponsor, UKAS, the team was delighted to receive the award, especially as it was up against five strong finalists.

Marketing director Amy Hutchinson commented, ‘We are absolutely thrilled to win the TAF Event of the Year accolade for our British Book Design and Production Awards. This achievement is purely down to the creativity and dedication of the team to create a unique event that brings together publishers, printers and designers to celebrate the creation of beautiful books.’

The BPIF was also shortlisted for Publication of the Year for its book of the night featuring the winners from the BBD&PA event.
