Flint Group announces the acquisition of Druckfarben in the United Kingdom

Flint Group has announced the acquisition of Druckfarben Limited, the UK based supplier of inks, varnishes, coatings, blankets, and pressroom consumables for sheetfed printing. With this investment Flint Group will strengthen its coatings portfolio and service offer in the UK and Ireland and demonstrates its commitment to the sheetfed printing sector.

Romain Boulot, vice president Sheetfed Sales and Global Strategy for Flint Group, said: ‘From an innovation standpoint, Druckfarben will bring customers added value through its coating technologies – supplying products that enhance our current sheetfed portfolio. For example we will now be able to offer an extended range of Silkoseal varnishes which are a critical aspect of the sheetfed printing process.’

Upon signing the agreement on 8 July, this acquisition has been confirmed and finalised.
