RPC Group company Strata Products has received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise at a special ceremony attended by Sir John Peace, Lord Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire.

The manufacturer was presented with a certificate and commemorative crystal bowl during Sir John’s visit to the factory, where he met members of staff as well as the senior management team.

The Queen's Award for Enterprise – given to Strata Products in the category of International Trade – is the UK's highest accolade for business success, and reflects the company’s impressive performance in export sales, which has delivered an increase in overseas earnings of 132% over the last three years.

Based in Pinxton, Nottinghamshire, Strata manufactures a wide range of products for several end markets, including home and office, garden and baby bath time products. Strata became part of the RPC Group in November 2015.

Michael Ilsen and Jay Ilsen also attended a reception at Buckingham Palace, hosted by Her Majesty The Queen, for 2016 Queen’s Award recipients.
