Ultrachem revamps its flexo ink, coatings and washes range

Ultrachem has reviewed and extended its entire Flexo ink, coatings and washes range for flexo print businesses.

Building upon the success of the UV flexo Goldeneye ink range, Ultrachem has introduced the ‘Color’ branded range of high quality water based flexo inks and coatings to cater for everything from label, bag, sack, cake, tissue and food packaging print. In addition, it has strengthened its portfolio of UV flexo varnishes and added UV Fastbond Adhesive as well as developing the PrimaFlex Solutions range of wash ups, ultrasonic cleaners and additives.

Jan Brinton, director of Ultrachem, said: ‘Since the early 80s Ultrachem has manufactured and stocked a wide range of UV flexo inks, varnishes and adhesives as well as wash up and ultrasonic cleaning products in line with technical advances, environmental requirements and commercial needs. The new additions to our portfolio will strengthen our offering in specialist growing markets. Our ability to make bespoke products to overcome specific problems and production issues sets us apart from our competitors. Furthermore, we have a commitment to only use high quality raw materials and packaging – with one aim to give our customers total peace of mind.’

For the first time Ultrachem has brought together the faster moving items into one easy to use A4 flexo inks, coatings and wash guide. Jan added, ‘The new literature gives a comprehensive overview of our range, but of course we are able to stock and manufacture a much wider portfolio of more specialist products too.’

Other groundbreaking technology includes the use of Ecovent containers for all wash products. Jan stated, ‘These containers are especially designed to empty smoothly and accurately without glugging of the liquid therefore avoiding dangerous splashing during discharge.’
