Baumann-Wohlenberg has added another machine to its already extensive range of high speed cutters with the introduction of the Wohlenberg 80 ‘Basic Line’ – a compact, robust and technically precise cutting system. Seen for the first time on the company’s stand at drupa, the new cutter boasts a host of standard features including:
18.5” touch display.
Quick knife exchange (with setting gauge).
Back gauge drive by servo motor (guided on both sides).
Knife drive with electromagnetic clutch.
Separate front table aeration (programmable).
Knife depth control.
Cutting stick exchange control.
Automatic adapting of the clamp pressure to the cutting width (programmable).

In operation, the new Wohlenberg ‘Basic Line 80’ has a cutting height of 120 mm (without false clamp plate) or 113 mm (with false clamp plate). Its maximum cutting depth is 800 mm and the maximum number of cuts per cycle is 45 per minute.
