Surrey based Positive Images UK has achieved ISO 27001 data security accreditation and invested in a new data processing suite.

The independently owned company provides commercial print and direct mail for clients in the retail, health, financial, media, charity and public sectors as well as creative agencies and print management companies.

‘We are pleased to have gone through the ISO 27001 process as it really enhanced our existing data security controls and processes,’ said Danny Sullivan, managing director.

Danny said that more and more tenders were requiring the security standard and for certain contracts it was becoming a necessity. ‘We have been providing accredited direct mail for many years and we expect ISO 27001 to open more doors to us,’ he added.

Positive is also offering enhanced data processing services.

‘As part of our continued commitment to expanding our direct mail service we have invested in Cygnus, the market leading data cleansing and processing software,’ said Danny. The data processing suite provides a breadth of data cleansing services from simple de-duplication to deceased and home mover tracking. ‘Cygnus will enable us to improve the quality of our client’s data and maximise their return on investment, ‘ he added.

The company also recently achieved ISO 9001 and is celebrating a decade of Direct Marketing Association (DMA) accreditation this year.
