Moving premises prompted Oakham commercial printer Quoin Print to invest in a Graphcut 52H fully hydraulic guillotine supplied by Terry Cooper Services (TCS).

Director Sam Smith said, ‘We moved to a smaller site in August and space became very important to us. We could have taken our existing guillotine but it had a much larger footprint. Also that would have involved structural building work including taking a wall down. The cost to do this made the purchase of a new machine more attractive.

‘We saved the cost of any building work, the cost of the moving our old guillotine and TCS delivered the new guillotine free of charge.’

He continued, ‘The Graphcut is easier to set up, quicker to programme. As there is only three of us we tend to print at the start of the day and finish at the end. Sometimes this could back up. Now we are able to get it done quicker which will be a great benefit in the long run.’
