C&T Channel Matrix goes direct in the UK

C&T Channel Matrix (C&T) has recently made a strategic decision to sell directly to more printers, die makers and box makers in the UK.

Simon Shenton, managing director, explained: ‘This move will provide huge benefits to new customers in terms of direct sales contact here in the UK, backed up by our own highly skilled technical support. We can better service customers with a much wider range of matrix products, with access to a full rubber range and associated creasing accessories; everything die cutters require for successful ‘cut and crease’ from one supplier. We find increasingly that many clients don’t have the resource or time to purchase matrix from one supplier and then source rubber and accessories from another. C&T understands fully that busy production companies need the reassurance of dealing with one supplier who can provide a package of complementary products to ensure maximum efficiency in conversion.’

This year, the company has brought together one of the most far reaching creasing matrix and rubber ranges, fully supported by a comprehensive range of cutting plates and accessories. The cutting range includes new steel cutting plates that are suitable for Bobst, or similar machines, plus a full portfolio of plastic parts used by die makers. These include, ‘Carrots’, Centre Line Blocks and Edge Protectors. This new accessories range covers everything from cylinder jackets, bed plates, nicking chisels, bench presses and shim tapes.
