3M and Spandex have named Nick Kenway of 3Sixty Wraps in Northampton as the winner of the ‘Cool Cars’ competition. Nick will receive a roll of the 3M Wrap Film Series 1080 in a colour of his choice including the new flip colour options, a Toolbelt, Knifeless Tape Roll, and free entry to a two day vehicle wrapping course at Spandex for the application of Envision Print Wrap Film SV480 by 3M and Envision Print Wrap Film LX480 by 3M.

With more than 40 entries received, Spandex and 3M were delighted with the standard of entries: ‘This competition has provided us with numerous innovative designs that would not otherwise have been seen by a wider audience,’ said Leon Watson, UK general manager at Spandex. ‘We stock and supply a large number of 3M films, so it is really satisfying to see so many imaginative and inspiring end results.’
‘We wanted to show our commitment to individuals in the vehicle wrapping community by running a competition that celebrated the creativity of wrappers, their singular designs and wrapping expertise,’ said Pen Webley, marketing team leader at 3M. ‘The response has been overwhelming and we hope the winners enjoy their prizes.’

Two runner-up prizes of a two day vehicle wrapping course were won by Wrap Monkey, Sunderland and Ecosse Signs in Bellshill, Scotland. The training courses, which are run by Spandex in conjunction with 3M, offer the chance to learn and enhance the skills needed to wrap vehicles with different types of materials, applying plain and printed films into a variety of recesses, contours and structures typically found on vehicles.
