Romax Marketing has chosen a management information system from Imprint-MIS as it looks to capitalise on growth opportunities.
Founded in 1997, Romax is a privately owned marketing services company in central London supplying data driven direct marketing services that has grown consistently year on year. It handles every aspect of direct marketing from data and design to print and delivery.
Following demonstrations from all the major MIS providers, the decision was made to invest in Imprint’s Direct Mail Business Control System, along with Shop Floor Data Capture. The software will cover all aspects of production and fulfilment.

The DM Business Control System (BCS) is a dedicated direct mail system with specialist direct mail features such as an estimating module for multiple items, shop floor data capture, data handling and processing, and works instructions that make it easier to enter and control direct mail orders.
‘We have had our own bespoke MIS for some time now and to be honest we have out grown it,’’ said managing director Robin Sumner. ‘Imprint demonstrated that it can offer us everything to move the business forward. Additionally, we are looking to fully automate our workflow and as Imprint offers JDF/JMF integration with all our machines including our Xerox presses and Horizon machines it ticked all the boxes for moving the business forward.’
The Imprint BCS will offer real time process and cost efficiencies both within the business and also to Romax’s longstanding clients, so that they can build stronger relationships and be ever more competitive in this fast changing industry.
