In line with its present business strategy for expansion, Mida Sign Services has invested in a Signracer 3200 large format UV LED hybrid inkjet printer from SSE Worldwide. The Mida team has immediately been impressed with the production and resolution quality of the Signracer and there is already talk of ordering a second machine.
The company relocated in 2013 with a plan to increase its premises by 300%, expand production and meet nationwide demand. To strengthen its business Mida has built a substantial print division within the company.

Mike Smith, director and owner of Mida Sign Services, said: ‘The Signracer has immediately made a significant difference. This investment has changed our thinking about the way we work and we can see the huge potential to increase, improve and maximise our production services across the board. The Ricoh Gen 5 printheads in the Signracer have taken digital printing direct to substrate into a new sphere on quality and on price. With these enhanced capabilities the company is adding a new level to its already impressive wide format capability.
‘The speed of the Signracer will increase production and increase turnover. In the short time we have had the machine we have seen how efficiently it prints direct to multiple substrates such as ACM, Foamex and Correx.’
