Anton Group has invested in two HP Indigo 12000 presses to support its direct mail business and the launch of its new marketing services division, Agility.

Citing an advance in digital quality as the driver behind the move, executive chairman Malcolm Lane-Ley elaborated, ‘Anton Group has been following developments in digital printing very closely over the last two years. This is particularly true in its core market, direct mail, where there has been a return to growth through the intelligent use of multiple version, high quality, wisely targeted campaigns using variable print.

‘At the same time, Anton Group has been readying itself for the launch of its marketing services division, Agility. Engaging with clients on a consultative basis, Agility will produce campaigns that drive growth through the use of high quality, high impact, creative print and packaging, exploiting a range of substrates. We believe that only the HP Indigo 12000 could satisfy all of our needs in this respect.’

Anton Group will install the two presses at its Laindon base in December. Printing B2 sized sheets in colour at up to 4600 per hour, the press is capable of producing over two million colour sheets per month.
