High Wycombe based Your Print Solution has installed the UK’s first Renz AP 300 compact heavy duty, floor standing, automatic punch machine.

‘The Renz AP 300 has more than doubled our capacity,’ said Steven Brown who founded the company with business partner David Jackson. ‘We do a lot of wire binding. We can get through a couple of thousand print on-demand books a day. Each one can be for a specific course or personalised. On average we were wire binding for about eight hours a day. It was one person’s job. Now they can do that in a half a day and move onto something else.’

He continued, ‘We went to drupa and looked at a number of options. We looked at the Renz AP360 as well but it was too big for us. The new AP300 was perfect – just what we needed.’

‘It was an investment in a system that we needed and it is making a big difference. Our operator said it has been a massive help. Punching is a labour intensive job. The AP 300 has taken our punching bottleneck away. We now have the capacity to take on more work,’ he concluded.
