Burgo’s 2017 calendar focuses on illustrations by renowned artist Ping Zhu. The style used is typical of the artist: figures and landscapes characterised by essential details, that convey emotions.

Through pastel or vibrant colours of her watercolours, the landscape is modelled, telling a new story every time. The artist illustrates the changing of seasons, from long winter shadows to the intense summer warmth. Paper, in this way, becomes the keeper of everyday stories, while the beach and the sea wear the colours that the passing of time paints on them. In every watercolour a space is left for the white sheet to express itself, so it becomes a towel, a hat or the crest of the waves. Through these details, the beauty of the raw material, paper, is enhanced.

The Burgo Group calendar is printed on coated Respecta 100 Satin 250 g/m2 FSC recycled, and pure cellulose SBS cardboard Prisma Up Silk 400 g/m2 (cover) FSC mix credit certified.
