Offset Print and Packaging achieves BPIF 12647 Technical Compliance Certificate

Offset Print and Packaging has been awarded with the BPIF 12647 Technical Compliance Certificate – one of only two print companies to have achieved the prestigious standard.

The company, which has been producing bespoke print and packaging for over 40 years for high profile clients including Fortnum and Mason, Pukka, PlayStation and Harrods, were awarded the level one standard as a first step towards the BPIF ISO 12647 colour quality management system.

The certificate, introduced by the BPIF as an accessible way for print companies to achieve excellent colour standards, involves assessing a company’s press and pre-press configurations to ensure they can maintain the high standards required.

Vince Brearey, joint managing director of Offset Print and Packaging, said: ‘We are very proud to have been one of the first companies in the UK to achieve the 12647 technical certificate with the assistance of the BPIF and Sun Chemical.

‘This accreditation, along with our ISO 9001 and 14001 accreditations, demonstrates that Offset Print and Packaging operate to the very highest of standards, which is reassuring to all our current customer base and also highlights our credentials to potential clients.’

Offset Print and Packaging will be undertaking an annual audit and print test to ensure they are maintaining the standard.
