Print Solutions

Camfree Signs & Graphics has installed two Ricoh Pro L4100 (130 and 160) wide latex printers, together with the fast drying AR latex inks, supplied by Ricoh partner Atlantic Tech Services.

The Southampton based company specialises in vehicle wrapping and signage, from single vehicles to national vehicle fleets and office branding. Camfree has seen its boat wrapping division grow from strength to strength offering bespoke solutions, from colour change to sponsored branding.

Managing director James Freeman said, ‘We chose the Pro L4130 and L4160 to speed up our production to provide a speedier service for our ever increasing customer base. The speed of the printers over our existing printers was significant, and additional benefits come with the latex printer and no out-gassing. This gives us the ability and diversity of being able to make changes to bespoke printed wraps during the instillation process. If the customer decides at the last minute to make a change we can now deliver without any disruption to our customer deadlines.’

He continued, ‘The fast drying Ricoh AR Latex inks have also been a major contributing factor in speeding up our production, as the prints come off fully cured, completely dry and ready to use.’

Stafford Cox, Atlantic service director hands over the two Ricoh Pro L4130 and Pro 4160 printers following installation to Camfree Signs & Graphics’ James Freeman.
