The Real Print and Finish Open House takes place on March 14, 15 and 16 at Apex’s premises in Hemel Hempstead and features Apex, IFS, Renz, KAS Paper Systems, Imprint, CyanX, Graphic Arts Supplies, Premier Paper Group and the IPIA.

The event is the latest in a series of hands-on workshops where visitors can see equipment running real work in real time. The full line up of equipment being run at the show has now been announced. (You can find out more at: www.realprintandfinish.com/showlist.html).

Apex is showcasing an SRA1 RMGT Ryobi four colour press with live LED-UV drying during the event. Apex has a large and ever growing installation base of LED-UV presses in the UK. The press will be shown using Fujifilm’s latest durable Pro-T plates, designed for use with LED-UV presses.

Apex is also UK launching a new compact CTP system from Cron at the event.

The Cron 26H combines autoload, platesetter and bridge/punch in a three in one solution for the highest productivity and smallest footprint. Cron has invigorated short run litho by enabling the rapid production of a four colour plate set for as little as £1 per plate.

IFS will show a wide range of quality finishing equipment. Horizon machines will include the new Smartslitter, which offers dynamic cutting, creasing and perforating with no manual set up, and a barcode/optical mark system for consistent accuracy.

The company has a long list of other Horizon equipment at the event, including a bookletmaking line comprising the SPF200L stitch/fold trim with in line VAC1000A and VAC1000C collators, the BQ270V perfect binder, AFC566F folder, HT30C trimmer and CRF362 creaser/folder.

IFS will also show B2 and B3 Foliant laminators with foiling options. Visitors who pre-register can have their own set of business cards printed on a Konica digital press and foiled on a Foliant machine.

Mailroom equipment supplier KAS will show the Mailmaster Compact envelope inserter, and punching and binding specialist Renz has several machines including the DTP340A desktop punch, ECL360 ring wire closing machine, AP300 compact floor standing punch, Bindomatic 70000 thermal binder and Mobi 500 semi automatic ring wire binder.

Imprint will show its MIS solutions with real time connections to the equipment on show.

CyanX will show Ikeuchi humidifiers, and Graphic Arts supplies will focus on Derprosa thermal laminating films and Foilco digital toner rolls.

The IPIA will be present, offering free consultations with business experts via pre-booked appointments, and visitors will also benefit from specially selected ‘Real Deal’ event promotions. By arrangement visitors can bring their own jobs and get hands-on advice to optimise their efficiency and profitability.
