Brother UK sales boost at Newtech

The Newtech series of local trade events is opening at the Holiday Inn, Brighouse, Leeds on Tuesday March 14 and The Mercure Hotel, Haydock Liverpool on April 25.

Brother UK and its innovative Tape Creator printer is a hit at the show resulting in a sales boost from the first two events in Cheltenham and Southampton.

‘When looking at how to take our new Tape Creator printer to market, we found the Newtech events. I visited the final event of 2016 to establish if it would be suitable. Based on the visitor profile and having discussed with the exhibitors how very successful the show was for them, it looked like an ideal platform to present the product,’ said Mike Kelly, head of Business Unit – Tape Creator, Brother UK.

Mike continued, ‘Consequently, we signed up for the first three events of 2017 with an option to extend to the seven remaining events of the year. After just the first two events, I decided not only to book the remaining seven events of 2017 but the first three of 2018 also.’

‘We have a strong show offer, whereby the first ten attendees at each show, who express an interest in taking the product, are offered it free of charge. This is based on an opening supplies’ order of £500, which will return a very healthy profit on the investment,’ added Mike. ‘This limited offer rewards the event attendee for taking the time out of their busy day and provides an incremental revenue opportunity to their business.’
