Albertin, a leading manufacturer of stamping tools and flexographic printing plates, is expanding its production of laser engraved stamping tools. The new lines increase and diversify the company's productive capacity and aim to satisfy market’s demand with technologically advanced solutions.
‘Catching people's attention with a single glance is the object of visual marketing, a discipline which is always effective, aiming to create very unique products,’ stated Ferruccio Albertin, CEO of Albertin. ‘If, in addition to the visual beauty, you have also the possibility of adding pleasant tactile perception, your packaging, labelling and printed products become precious treasure chests capable not only to communicate the company's values, but also to astonish the consumer, stirring their emotions and creating an everlasting memory.’

The new arrival at Albertin is a latest generation laser engraving machine with optic fibre source, the only one in Italy being used for producing stamping tools.
The fixed range of the laser allows it to achieve processing and graphics unimaginable with mechanical cutters. The finest details are corrected automatically by the machine, giving flawless results on any material. Furthermore, it is controlled by a video camera with high precision enlarging to check and measure the lines down to a few tenths of a millimetre. Perfection and details offered by this laser technology, open up new possibilities for graphic development.
The large work range and the configuration of this machine permit you not only to work on flat surfaces but also on a cylinder and shaped pieces as well.
‘We were the first to adopt laser technology with incandescent lamps as early as 2001, when this technology was quite unknown,’ Ferruccio continued. ‘In a very short time we revealed all its potential, and the advantages were immediately obvious: extremely precise work and a lot of new creative possibilities. It was precisely our ability to offer our customers fashionable new processes such as micro engraving, embossing and even anti-counterfeiting holograms which encouraged us to go further. Therefore we continue to invest in the latest, state of the art equipment on the market.’
