Visitors to Sign & Digital UK 2017 will be transported to a kingdom of dark fantasy, magic and dragons with Swanline Paper and Board (SPB) and Swanline Print.

The two companies, part of the Swanline Print Group, are set to launch four new products at the event against a medieval backdrop of dynastic battles which has been created in-house to demonstrate their constructional and graphic capabilities.

Swanline Print and SPB will be located on stand E52 and will unveil a range of new board products including Cygnus Outdoor Display, Cygnus Gecko, PankaLux and PankaBrite.

Managing director Ross Griffin said, ‘This event provides the perfect opportunity to demonstrate to the industry the competencies and abilities that Swanline can offer in terms of constructional design, graphics and materials.

‘We have chosen a theme that has elements of mystery, intrigue and fantasy to draw visitors to our stand but to also highlight the breadth of our portfolio and show companies what can be achieved when they choose to work with Swanline.’

SPB will introduce Cygnus Outdoor Display at the show. A leading environmentally friendly display board, resistant to water and moisture, makes Cygnus an ideal solution for all exterior signage applications. Its environmental credentials and robust fibre construction enables it to be a viable alternative to plastic and PE coated outdoor products. It is also ideal for internal use where moisture or humidity is an issue.

Cygnus Gecko is a high quality 150 micron vinyl available in matt white or chalkboard finish and has been designed to be easily removed and reapplied numerous times without affecting the adhesive performance.

For the packaging industry, SPB is also offering two new folding boxboards which will be unveiled at Sign & Digital.

PankaLux is a white backed folding boxboard for luxury packaging. It offers outstanding visual properties and superior packaging performance and is ideal for advanced print applications such as foil lamination and high quality end use applications.

Meanwhile, PankaBrite is a folding boxboard designed for the food packaging sector. It has a substance range from 460 microns through to 1030 microns and offers excellent rigidity, purity and visual characteristics – all important features for food packaging.
