Chapel Press has further enhanced its capabilities by installing a MBO K70 Combi folding machine, supported by a SBAP 46 ME vertical stacker delivery and A76 mobile stream delivery. Managing director Tim O’Shea says: “We had a requirement to significantly increase our folding capacity, and after looking at the options that were available we chose what we regarded as the best for us – the MBO K70 Combi folder along with the vertical stacker.

‘One of the reasons we chose the K70 was due to the fact that we have operators that are experienced on MBO folders and therefore the transition to the new equipment was very smooth,’ said the company’s Tim O’Shea.
Based in Stockport, Cheshire, Chapel Press has been in business for 33 years and is one of the leading printing production centres in the north west of England.
Tim continued, ‘We have on a regular basis a requirement to fold section work in quantities of up to 500,000, and to perform this operation effectively you need a folder that provides reliable and consistent performance.
‘We have, over many years, found that MBO equipment more than satisfies these requirements, and trust that the new K70 folder will continue this trend.’
All the equipment was supplied by MBO’s UK and Ireland agent, Friedheim International.
