Pixartprinting's latest content marketing project, Berlin Lines, invites users to discover the world below the surface of the German capital, with its iconic, world renowned underground railway. Focusing on the variety of styles, colour palettes and lettering found at the stations of the U-Bahn, the new project, devised by the firm's marketing team and created in collaboration with selected contributors, offers communication and printing professionals plenty of creative inspiration.

‘Our content marketing projects provide users with unique content through engaging storytelling,’ said Paolo Roatta, managing director of Pixartprinting. ‘The subjects examined, closely linked to our core business, are narrated with originality, flair and professionalism using all the digital media at our disposal. The result is a winning blend of interviews, narrative photography, infographics and videos that demonstrate the high degree of engagement that can be achieved.’

Berlin Lines tells 20 different stories, each one featuring an inhabitant of the city associated with a particular underground station, through exclusive interviews and 40 photographs taken by German lifestyle photographer Sebastian Spasic. Designed to touch on all the cult themes beloved of graphic design professionals and creatives, the storytelling analyses the typographical elements and colour pairings that define the style of the stations, uncovering the connection between the people and the stations where they chose to be photographed. The images reveal an incredible resemblance between the individual and the surrounding environment, showing an empathy that underlines the originality of the narrative.

The new content creation project adds another page to the 'City' chapter, which has previously taken readers on an unusual tour of Europe through themed trips like ‘Floors’ and ‘Re-tale’, dedicated, respectively, to the decorated floors and historic shop signs of Europe's major capitals. Berlin Lines sits alongside these projects in ‘Container’, the digital area, accessible in a single click from the pixartprinting.co.uk homepage, devised by the leading online printing services company to make these projects easier to access and share, and to increase their viral potential.
